Daniel is a 5th Year Physics with Astrophysics undergraduate at The University of Glasgow (1st).
Grades and Achievements
Daniel achieved AAAAA grades in his Highers and AAA in her Advanced Highers (Chemistry, Maths and Physics).
Hobbies and Interests
I am a member of the Rocketry society at Glasgow University where we get the chance to learn about, design, build and launch rockets. Occasionally, I take part in debating at the Glasgow University Union. I also play cello at a high level for relaxation. I hope to learn as much as I can throughout my degree in physics and potentially study a PhD before using my knowledge to help make a small difference in the world. Though not particularly sporty, I am a good skier and I occasionally play pool and snooker. I bake my own bread, and I enjoy cooking in general. Most importantly, I love going to watch the football!
Ambitions
I have ambitions to probe the world of astrophysics, but also to get involved in political and humanitarian issues to make the world a better place. I believe that science is the best place to make the biggest difference to people’s lives.
