Grades and Achievements
Lily has a PGDE in Secondary Biology teaching from The University of Strathclyde. Lily achieved a 2.1 in her Pharmacology degree at The university of Glasgow. She achieved AAAAAA grades in her Highers and AC in her Advanced Highers (Biology and Chemistry).

Hobbies and Interests
In my free time, I enjoy a range of hobbies to help me relax, be creative and stay active. I read most
evenings, enjoying a range of fiction and non-fiction books. I also enjoy painting, allowing me a
chance to express my creativity. As well as this, I have recently taken up running on the weekends,
helping me to maintain my healthy lifestyle and also clear my mind.I have a strong interest in biomedical science. Since completing my undergraduate degree in pharmacology, I have continued to keep up to date with novel treatments of disease and medical advances through my reading. This motivates me to keep learning and ensures I am more aware of where the future of medical science is headed.

Ambitions
My ambition is to continue developing as a biology teacher, deepening my subject knowledge and refining my teaching skills to inspire students to engage with and enjoy science. I am committed to professional growth, seeking opportunities to learn new teaching strategies, integrate technology into lessons, and contribute positively to the school community. Looking further ahead, I hope to gain international experience by teaching abroad, which would allow me to share my passion for biology with a diverse range of students while broadening my own perspective on education and learning.
