Hobbies and Interests
I really enjoy music, and I play a mix of film scores and classical music on piano and violin. I’m currently trying to learn some Scottish and Irish fiddle music. I’m trying to become more active now that I’m at university, so I’ve started running and doing yoga more regularly. I love hiking and long walks, I’m hoping to climb more munros next year and explore more of the Highlands. I’m very interested in plant science, I’m currently trying to teach myself to identify different tree species, then I’m hoping to move onto wildflower identification. I like learning languages, I know a bit of French from school and I’m now (slowly) learning some German.

Ambitions
I’m hoping to work or study abroad, especially in Germany or Switzerland. I’m really passionate about environmental issues, and in the future I would love to work in a research area that would contribute to conservation or sustainability.

I found Caledonia Tutors as my son required additional help with school. We started with the maths Headstart course last summer and it was excellent. At first I was unsure that online lessons would work but it exceeded all expectations. We chose to continue on with the tutor throughout the year as my son’s grades improved and we wanted to keep them that way. Cannot be faulted, highly recommended.

I arranged a a couple of maths lessons for my daughter, at very short notice, who was struggling a little with trigonometry ahead of a test. Her tutor explained things in an extremely easy to understand way and I will not hesitate to use her again down the line if needs be and would encourage anyone in the same boat to do the same.

After failing his prelim in Nat 5 math I reached out to Caledonia Tutors for tutoring for my son and he was matched with Ubaida for weekly tutoring online. Ubaida was brilliant.
