Oscar is a Politics undergraduate at The University of Glasgow (1st).

Grades and Achievements
Oscar achieved A*A*A*A* grades in his A Levels (Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Politics). He also won the Evelyn Hooker Prize for the best score across the University of Glasgow first year Psychology cohort.

Hobbies and Interests
I’m fascinated by the sciences and how great complex organisms like us can be made up of tiny atoms; from there, why do we talk, vote and think the way we do? My interests are really interdisciplinary. Outside of this, I enjoy listening to old music, playing Nintendo games and reading about politics. I also write crosswords and articles for the University of Glasgow student newspaper! Outside of this, campaigning for justice for marginalised groups is incredibly important to me.

Ambitions
I imagine that I’ll train to become a high school teacher after graduating. I really enjoy making people feel listened to and seen, as well as teaching others about subjects I’m passionate about, so this seems like a natural fit. I’d also like to settle down with my partner, to keep writing, and to keep trying new things!
