Leo is a BSc Astrophysics undergraduate at The University of Edinburgh.

Grades and Achievements
Leo achieved AAABBB grades in his Highers and AB in his Advanced Highers (Maths and Physics).

Hobbies and Interests
I’ve played rugby for a club in the southside of Glasgow called Cartha Queens Park since I was 5, I am a scrum half. I also go to a lot of gigs and collect records- a personal favourite being Definitely Maybe. I love music, especially from the likes of Oasis, Fontaines DC, and The Snuts. I enjoy travelling, I manage to get away to a couple of cities each year that I am keen on exploring – for example I recently visited Catania, and Prague. I tend to also watch a lot of YouTube and series such as ‘The Grand Tour’.

Ambitions
I would love to get the opportunity to visit CERN in Geneva, to see the LHC and everything that goes on there. I am keen on a career in teaching or lecturing after I graduate, via completing a Masters after my BSc.

I found Caledonia Tutors as my son required additional help with school. We started with the maths Headstart course last summer and it was excellent. At first I was unsure that online lessons would work but it exceeded all expectations. We chose to continue on with the tutor throughout the year as my son’s grades improved and we wanted to keep them that way. Cannot be faulted, highly recommended.

I arranged a a couple of maths lessons for my daughter, at very short notice, who was struggling a little with trigonometry ahead of a test. Her tutor explained things in an extremely easy to understand way and I will not hesitate to use her again down the line if needs be and would encourage anyone in the same boat to do the same.
