Matthew achieved AAAAAAA grades in his Highers and AA grades in his Advanced Highers (Maths and Physics).

Hobbies and Interests
I play a lot of football at university. I play for both the university team and the medic football team. It’s good to keep me active and helps split up my studies. Also ,I recently took part in the student boxing fight night that I managed to win. Although not recently, I enjoy playing golf when the weather is nice. As well as playing football, I’m also a big football fan. I go to watch and support my team every week. I’m also a big foodie, I enjoy going out for food with friends and really like challenging myself by cooking different recipes at home.

Ambitions
In the short term I want to achieve a 1st in my BMSc. Long term I want to become an orthopaedic surgeon- currently focusing on knees.

I found Caledonia Tutors as my son required additional help with school. We started with the maths Headstart course last summer and it was excellent. At first I was unsure that online lessons would work but it exceeded all expectations. We chose to continue on with the tutor throughout the year as my son’s grades improved and we wanted to keep them that way. Cannot be faulted, highly recommended.

I arranged a a couple of maths lessons for my daughter, at very short notice, who was struggling a little with trigonometry ahead of a test. Her tutor explained things in an extremely easy to understand way and I will not hesitate to use her again down the line if needs be and would encourage anyone in the same boat to do the same.

After failing his prelim in Nat 5 math I reached out to Caledonia Tutors for tutoring for my son and he was matched with Ubaida for weekly tutoring online. Ubaida was brilliant.
