Hobbies and Interests
I am very active and love running, going to the gym and wild swimming whenever I have the chance to do so. I have a passion for mountaineering and love being in Scotland’s fabulous nature- I am often exploring the wilderness near Loch Lomond or the Pentland hills. I enjoy language learning too, so top up on my Italian and French skills at the weekend, whether that is by watching French classic films or reading in Italian! I am extremely interested in climate change and geology, with a strong interest in how climate change can be controlled with our use of renewable energies- especially as both climate change and renewables are such topical issues. I find soil and glacial science particularly interesting too, as we are especially lucky to have access to some of the UK’s highest peaks in our backyard here in Scotland. Being able to see how past glaciation has altered our landscape even today is something amazing!
Ambitions
I hope to work in a role where I can develop not only my adaptability skills but also improve on my teaching abilities as I aim to train as a teacher after university. Any job that allows me to refine my skills of mentorship and work with young people is something that interests me; I find much joy in helping others build confidence and work on their skills.
