Albert achieved AAAAA grades in his Highers (Biology, Chemistry, English, Maths and Physics).

Hobbies and Interests

I enjoy cycling on the rare occasions that the Scottish weather allows it, and it tends to be quite difficult to keep myself off the bike when the sun comes out. I also enjoy some reading in my free time, typically focusing on all sorts of non-fiction. I have a strong interest in neuroscience and metacognition, and in understanding how the brain works. I also keep up with new developments in Chemistry and Physics, and link them to my studies. Crocheting is a creative hobby I am developing, which allows me to focus and relax at the same time.

Ambitions

I am not completely sure what I want to do after university, but I hope to be working in a field related to the sciences that I find personally fulfilling and interesting. I also hope that any path I take in the future allows me to constantly push myself and grow personally and professionally.
