Caitlin is a Medicinal and Biological Chemistry undergraduate at The University of Edinburgh (High 1st average).

Grades and Achievements
Caitlin achieved AAAAAA grades in her Highers and AA grades in her Advanced Highers (Chemistry and Maths). She was also awarded the prize for the best undergraduate Sustainable Chemistry project at UofE.

Hobbies and Interests
In my free time I enjoy running, drawing and cooking. I love the outdoors, especially hiking and wild swimming. I am interested in health and wellness, organic chemistry and particularly drug design. I am especially interested in the human brain and research surrounding new therapies. I am interested in trying food from all over the world and travelling. I am also a Harry Potter fan.

Ambitions
I aspire to graduate with a first-class degree and go on to study a PhD in medicinal chemistry, aiming to work in drug development and therapeutic research. I would love to discover or develop a treatment that makes a real difference. I also want to travel the world, see amazing places, scuba dive in a coral reef and go sky-diving.

I found Caledonia Tutors as my son required additional help with school. We started with the maths Headstart course last summer and it was excellent. At first I was unsure that online lessons would work but it exceeded all expectations. We chose to continue on with the tutor throughout the year as my son’s grades improved and we wanted to keep them that way. Cannot be faulted, highly recommended.

I arranged a a couple of maths lessons for my daughter, at very short notice, who was struggling a little with trigonometry ahead of a test. Her tutor explained things in an extremely easy to understand way and I will not hesitate to use her again down the line if needs be and would encourage anyone in the same boat to do the same.
