Daniel is an integrated masters MPhys (Hons) Maths and Theoretical Physics undergraduate at The University of St. Andrews (1st).
Grades and Achievements
Daniel achieved AAAAAA grades in his Highers and AAA grades in his Advanced Highers (Chemistry, Maths, Mechanics and Physics).
Hobbies and Interests
I regularly read both fiction and non-fiction to relax and out of interest in the subject. I love how stories can totally transport you to another place as well as the lessons that can be learnt from them. I also enjoy exercising and, although not as often now, participating in sports. I enjoy learning about the vast complexities of the natural world and how we may understand them through science. I’m also interested in many cultural aspects of society such as literature, art, and music.
Ambitions
I’d like to make contributions in some area (currently unsure as to what) in physics – whether it’s in research or in improvements in industry. I’d also like to spend a lot more time abroad when I can , particularly in and around Europe.
