Edward is a 3rd Year Aero-Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Strathclyde (1st).

Edward achieved AAAAAAA grades in his Highers including Maths and Physics.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy keeping active and going to the gym, and I spend a lot of my time training with my university rowing team and competing in national events. Exercise is a big part of my routine, but outside of this I also enjoy playing music. I play both the cello and piano, and I was a finalist in the Scottish Young Musician Competition in 2023, which was a great experience! I am a big Formula 1 fan and enjoy following the sport throughout the season, particularly the technical innovation and rivalries between teams. At university, I’m involved in Formula Student, where we design, build and race an F1-style car, and I enjoy being part of a team working towards a shared goal. I also really enjoy the adventures of travelling and I try to explore new places and cultures as much as I can.
Ambitions
When I graduate, I hope to go into an aerodynamic design role in either the motorsport or aerospace industry. Eventually I would like to be in a managerial position, as I enjoy trying to bring the best out in people.
