Grades and Achievements

Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy running as it relaxes my mind and helps me socialise – joining a running club is the best way to take my mind off things, it helps me bond with my peers and resting afterwards is the most rewarding feeling. I also attend dance classes (salsa and bachata) on some occasions, where I always have a good time and meet new people. Hobbies really help me forget the stress that is involved with medicine and focus on building communication skills and make good friends instead.
I also do live performances every week with the greek society at my university – it is a refreshing way to show my heritage and I get to learn new things! Music is an interest of mine I want to keep developing – I started singing this year and I enjoy seeing people singing along and dancing to my performance. It is something I want to develop further, by getting better at piano for example, or learning to play the guitar.
Ambitions
I am very interested in innovative medicine and this is something I am going to further develop next year at my university. I am planning to intercalate in biomedical engineering and gain ideas from the course using maths and science to hopefully help future diagnoses and management techniques.
