Hollie is a third year student studying Law at Edinburgh University, currently completing her year abroad at the University of British Columbia.
Grades and Achievements
Hollie achieved AAAAAAA at Higher and AA at Advanced Higher (English and Modern Studies), with her being awarded the highest mark in her high school for both English and Modern Studies.
Hobbies and Interests
Outside of tutoring, I love anything that gets me outdoors and is active, whether that’s running, hiking, walking along the beach or exploring the mountains. Last year, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and ran the Edinburgh Marathon, and this year I’m taking on two new challenges: a HYROX competition and a 100km race! I love watching the sunset, discovering new places and making the most of every adventure. Above all, I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, travelling, meeting new people and making memories.
Ambitions
My ambition is to pursue a career in commercial law and secure a training contract after university, while continuing to develop my skills and learn from new experiences. Through tutoring, I hope to help students build confidence, strengthen their understanding and achieve their academic goals. One of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring is seeing students make progress and building a strong, trusting relationship with each student. I aim to make learning as engaging, accessible and enjoyable as possible by tailoring each lesson to the student’s individual needs.
