Hollie is an Aeronautical Engineeering undergraduate at The University of Glasgow (1st).

Grade and Achievements
Hollie achieved AAAAAA grades in her Highers and AA grades in her Advanced Highers (Maths and Physics). She was also awarded the Dux award at school.

Hobbies and Interests

In my spare time, I enjoy meeting up with friends and spending time outdoors as much as possible. I love travelling and immersing myself in different cultures, aiming to try as many experiences and activities as possible; including scuba diving, skydiving, hot air balloon rides, and even swimming with pigs! Despite not being able to play an instrument, I am a huge music enthusiast and love to attend live gigs, spending far too much time in Ticketmaster queues! As an Aeronautical Engineering student, I’m fascinated by all things space and spacecraft, and love learning about why the universe works the way it does. I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of the GU Rocketry society, where I have had the pleasure of learning about, designing, building, and hopefully soon launching, rockets! Aside from academics, I am also a huge animal lover.

Ambitions

In the future, I aspire to complete my degree and go on to be a Chartered Engineer, working in the Aerospace industry. Before this, I would love the opportunity to further develop my knowledge by working on more projects within GU Rocketry. I would also love to continue travelling the world and making new memories!
