Jackson achieved AAB grades at A Level (Further Maths, Maths and Business).

Hobbies and Interests
I love to be outdoors, playing Basketball or Tennis with friends. I also enjoy visiting new places and landmarks that I can learn from. Recently, I went to Belgium and discovered a sport called Boltra, which was super fun to try. I’m particularly interested in the history of mathematics, and in how technological change has shaped mathematical discovery over the past few centuries. A recent instance of this, is how an AI model recently helped resolve a version of the 87-year-old Jacobian conjecture, not through brute proof-writing but by searching a vast space of possibilities.

Ambitions
I hope to work in roles that allow for both problem solving and creativity. In the future, I see myself educating others within STEM.
