Katie is a 2nd Year Physics undergraduate at The University of Edinburgh (1st average).

Grades and Achievements
Katie achieved 40/45 in her IB (95th percentile). Including A* in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

Hobbies and Interests
I love everything to do with music, and in my spare time I am most likely either listening to it or making it. I enjoy playing trumpet, piano guitar and bass and have been playing in various groups at university. I am also an avid crafter, having picked up crochet, embroidery and sewing. I am very interested in acoustics, as it is very fun and interesting to learn about the underlying mechanisms of sound and music. Outside of physics, I have a growing interest in Jazz, and have been trying to improve my soloing.

Ambitions
I hope to learn as much as possible from my degree, and pursue either a further degree or career in physics. I also hope that I have developed and improved as a musician, and will have played in many amazing gigs.
