Hobbies and Interests
In my free time, I like to relax in a few different ways. Number one, I like to stay social, so I try to spend most of my time with friends, either by playing sports like Tennis or bouldering, or playing video games like Fortnite and Minecraft. Sometimes, I need a bit of space by myself, so I like to practice with problem-solving tasks like programming just to stay a little sharp and keep learning (helps me fall asleep sometimes as well haha). Currently, my biggest interest is electrical circuit design, and I’ve even bought myself a couple of ESP32s recently. I’ve been learning a lot about different circuits we use every day in lectures, so I’ve started researching a few more in my free time. I’ve also started to try and design a few, albeit unsuccessfully.
Ambitions
It’s tough to narrow down my ambitions since there’s a lot I enjoy doing, but I’m looking forward to a future in academia. Since being at university, I’ve had the opportunity to speak to a lot of senior lecturers and researchers and have caught some of their enthusiasm for their subject. This has made me really excited to think about conducting my own research and making some discoveries to write about.
