Poppy achieved A*A*A* grades in her A Levels (History, Philosophy and Ethics, English Literature).
Hobbies and Interests
One of my favourite things to do outside of my studies is climbing and exploring the outdoors. I love anything to do with nature and finding wild spots to hike, climb and swim in. When it’s too cold to be outdoors you can often find me puzzling over a crochet pattern or reading a book in a cosy cafe! Recently, I’ve become very interested in film and literature, particularly from the Middle East and Asia. I’ve spent the last year lost in the Arabian Nights stories and the art that has been created from it. I love learning about mythology and classical literature (in particular Greek mythology) and how we still use it today.
Ambitions
I hope to become fluent in as many different languages as I can, I’m currently starting with Arabic! Once I finish my studies I hope to travel as far as I can with these languages and use them to meet many different people.
