Priya achieved AAAAAA grades in her Highers and AA grades in her Advanced Highers (Chemistry and Maths).
Hobbies and Interests
I am really passionate about music, and love to play the piano and do karaoke with my
friends. I feel it is a brilliant way to unwind and relax after a busy week at uni. Reading novels
is one of my favourite pastimes, and I am especially interested in medical thrillers or
detective novels! I like to hike and regularly go to the gym as it is really important to keep active, and it always uplifts my spirits. I take an active role within Edinburgh medical school, as I am social
secretary for the Medical Schools Council, where I enjoy working with other students to plan and organise exciting events for the cohort.
Ambitions
First, I would like to graduate with a First Class Degree and have a rewarding career in medicine. In the future, I would like to become an active member with MSF (Doctors Without Borders) and work to save people’s lives in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. Finally, I wish to continue teaching and pass on my knowledge to future students.
