Rachael is a final year Maths and Psychology undergraduate at The University of Glasgow (High 1st average).

Rachael achieved A*A*A*A* grades in her A Levels (Maths, Further Maths, English and Psychology).

Hobbies and Interests
I regularly like to run, there’s a path along the Clyde near where I live that is great to run along in any weather. I also like to bake; my friends end up with cakes every birthday (also homemade cards). I listen to a lot of music from the past. I used to play in bands when I was younger and would like to start again. I love my degree, the fact that maths seems to underpin everything is fascinating, and I find learning about psychology, especially human development, very interesting too. I also love Greek mythology, and love watching films and tv shows that are adaptations of the myths.

Ambitions
My main ambition is to become a maths teacher and hopefully do a lot of work in pastoral care within schools, I would love to be able to make a difference in students’ lives and be like the teachers that I had in school.
