Rosa achieved straight A grades at Higher and Advanced Higher Physics.
Hobbies and Interests
I enjoy going to the gym, running and playing rugby, where I play for my University team and compete weekly. In my free time I also enjoy crocheting, learning Gaelic and reading, currently I am making my way through the Lord of the Rings trilogy and Tolkien’s other Middle-earth stories. I’m particularly interested in particle physics and it’s applications in imaging. I also have an interest in physics education and how to make physics more engaging and accessible to students, which I am actively working on through my role as an ambassador for the Institute of Physics.
Ambitions
Following the completion of my degree I am hoping to pursue a career in academia, working on research that will create a positive impact on the future of physics and maybe even contribute to some emerging technologies.
