Zubair is a BSc (Hons) Mathematics undergraduate at The University of Edinburgh (1st).

Grades and Achievements
Zubair achieved A*A*A*A* grades in his A Levels (Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Chemistry).

Hobbies and Interests
I love playing the piano and have been playing since I was 6. I am also on the committee of the piano society. I used to work part time as a swimming teacher which I found very rewarding.I continue to teach swimming when I go back home each summer. I also row regularly and it has become my favourite sport. It’s quite intense but the scenery is very nice. Since coming to university, I have really enjoyed cooking and trying out new recipes. I find it fun to make up the recipe as I go and have learnt to cook to taste. I also enjoy playing chess every now and then.

Ambitions
After university, I am hoping to complete a law conversion course and pursue a career in commercial law. I would also like to complete my grade 8 piano at some point as I didn’t quite manage to complete it before going to university.
