Students select a business topic, research a real organisation and produce a structured report. They gather and interpret information from a range of sources, apply relevant business theory, analyse findings and produce justified conclusions and recommendations in a structured report. Marks are awarded for introduction, research, analysis and interpretation, conclusions and recommendations, and overall structure .

- Developing deeper analysis in extended answers, particularly in 8-mark questions.
- Evaluating internal and external factors with balanced judgement.
